The Seminal Literature – everything but Language Arts (Middle School/Junior High)

Sherlock Holmes (see previous blog entry) may be the sleuth who can root out the seminal literature for language arts but finding the “good books” for all of the other subject areas is a job for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

As I said before, I am on a quest! Teachers, especially those new to the profession, need to have some key resources at their fingertips. The investigation is ongoing and is far from complete but my work with the RCMP and several individuals known to the police offers the following:

McGrawHill texts – Science Focus 7, 8 & 9
